System 15000 ============ Solution by bbagnall and swolff Found at http://c64.tin.at/ =============================== - Dial Kingsdown Ploytechnic and enter the code. Enter the code next to L.T. Perry. You will receive another phone number and code. Hit * to hang up. - Dial Kingsdown again, except this time enter the number next to R Boon and hit enter. You will receive a code 7Y4Y. This is for Richardson Boon Ltd. - Dial L.T. Perry and enter the code INFRA. Copy down these systems and numbers. Notice Richardson Boon Ltd. is Not Online. It will be online later in the game, so check back here later. - Dial Seastar Travel Inc and get exchange rates. Notice for Midminster Bank PLC it says MMB FR. What a callous mistake, leaving codes laying around! - Call MIDMINSTER bank and use the code MMB FR. This brings up a login prompt. You can't go farther right now. - Somewhere around here GEOFF leaves you a message. To collect the message hit F7 at the System 15000 main screen. He's just checking in. - At the System 15000 message board you can try leaving a message "HELP" but someone with initials A.H. says they can't help at the moment. - You might see a message somewhere here saying that the BC=4M5. That means the bank code is 4M5 - Back at L.T.Perry you should now have the number: 348-1408. - Dial this number and enter 7Y4Y. It tells you how to calculate the access code for MMB AC for REALCO: AERCO4M5 - Dial Midminster, enter MMB FR, then enter AERCO4M5 to access the Realco account. At the end of this statement it has access code for AR Routeledge: CCXRP455. - Dial AR Routeledge and enter the access code. You get more information about Realco, which is a subsidiary of Vinchetta Inc. They deal with the Reserve Manhattan Bank in NY - Hit enter and you get the phone number for Mills Dyson & Co. 723 9293 - I tried calling it and then received a message from Geoff. He says to call Selcra Secs at 800 4310 and enter Reversal as the code. This actually means the reversal of Selcra, which is ARCLES - Call Selcra and enter code. It asks you to press a key. It searches database then instructs you to call the 15000 User Board and leave a message with "SELCRA" plus a company name. - Geoff leaves another message that says we are attracting attention, so he has to be more cryptic. Things will be more difficult from here. - Call System 15000 User Service and leave message "SELCRA VINCHETTA". Now dial Selcra and hit V. It searches and comes up with lots of information, including a new code for LT Perry. - Call LT Perry and enter the new code. Here you get a ton of phone numbers and some codes. Copy them down for later. Notice it says a KP Code is CL332. KP... KP... Kingstown Polytechnic? Similar to SL312. Should we try Kingsdown Polytechnic again and see what happens? - At KP you get a bunch of codes. We are now swimming in possibilities. - Try leaving a message with "SELCRA BIG APPLE" then go to Selcra and hit B. It gives PIP537 - Dial Vinchetta. It will have a security message and a bunch of beeps. Disconnect and then you will have to wait a mandatory 10 minutes!!! Go cook an egg while you are waiting. Come back and dial Vinchetta again. This time you get the same message but a different beep. Wait until it runs out then you can enter the code from LT Perry: EZRA - Most of the codes in here you already have, but the code for Reserve Manhattan Bank is current: M8R - You can now get pretty far if you tried dialing Reserve Manhattan. Go ahead if you feel like it. You will soon realize you are missing the Transfer Initialization Code. To get the transfer code: - Calling Elwood (number from L.T.Perry using the special code and code from the latest Kingsdown code) gives a number for companies called Big Apple, Cilisy (Sicily, organised crime, geddit?), Craig Communications (another joke, perhaps: the game was distributed by Ferranti&Craig) and Satatel. - Calling Craig Comms, using the code obtained at Selcra gives a code for Satatel. - Calling Big Apple using the code from Selcra gives a Reserve Manhattan Bank transfer service code. - Calling Satatel gives nothing new, but triggers a message from Geoff, which can be translated to a numeric code for Cilisy. - Calling Cilisy using this code appears not to work, but it does trigger a message from Geoff at the message board: "Getting so confused think we should go back to school"... School? So we try... - Calling Kingsdown Poly, and sure enough, another file has been added, conveniently providing a code for Mills Dyson. - So we call Mills Dyson using this code, which provides nothing but triggering another message from Geoff at the message board: "RMB code southern air second flight out - relates backwards". Se we... - Call SeaStar Travel and check on the departures. Second flight is flight no. 5712, which is 2175 backwards, and there's your initialization code.
